What is the 16 Mukhi Rudraksha?

The 16 Mukhi Rudraksha is a rare and powerful bead with sixteen natural lines or facets on its surface. It is a talisman of a virtuous human being who’s endowed with tremendous fortitude. It is blessed by Lord Rama and Lord Mahakaal and is ruled by the planet Rahu. It bestows the wearer with good family relationships, respect, fame, and success. It protects the wearer from theft, cheating, and enemies. It removes the fear of death and unfounded fears. It helps overcome unfavorable planetary positions and chronic diseases. It is beneficial for people involved in the land and construction business, industrialists, and high-authority professionals. It is a highly valued and auspicious bead that brings benefits to all the Rudraksha beads from 1 to 14 Mukhi. The 16 Mukhi Rudraksha is available in large, collector, and super collector sizes.

About the ruling planet Rahu

Rahu is a planet that has a lot of influence on human life, but it is not a physical planet. It is a point where the moon's orbit intersects with the ecliptic, the apparent path of the sun. Rahu is also known as the northern lunar node or the dragon's head in Vedic astrology. Rahu can bring sudden changes, innovation, curiosity, and ambition into one's life. However, it can also cause illusion, confusion, deception, and addiction if it is afflicted or ill-placed. Rahu can be pacified by worshipping Lord Shiva, Goddess Durga, Lord Ganesha, or Lord Hanuman, and by chanting the Rahu Mantra or the Rahu Beej Mantra. Rahu can also be balanced and harmonized by wearing a Rudraksha bead that corresponds to its number, such as the 8 Mukhi Rudraksha or the 16 Mukhi Rudraksha.

Story about the presiding deity:

Lord Rama was born into a royal family and grew up to be a virtuous, courageous, and righteous prince. The young prince was also physically very strong. He was the only one who could lift and string a bow during the Swayamvar of Devi Sita. He won her hand in marriage and returned to Ayodhya. This young scion of the Ikshvaku dynasty was fate's chosen child. Due to a promise given by his father, he was exiled into the forest for 14 years. He honored this promise and lived in the forest with his brother Lakshman and his wife Sita. When Sita was abducted by Ravana, Lord Rama was heartbroken. He received the aid of Lord Hanuman, an Anshavatar of Lord Shiva. The legion of monkeys helped Lord Rama build a bridge across the ocean to reach Lanka where Sita was imprisoned. Lord Rama had to wage a war and kill Ravana to get Sita Devi back. He returned to Ayodhya with his wife and was crowned the King amidst cries of victorious cries of “Jai Shri Ram”.

The 16 Mukhi Rudraksha is an extremely powerful and rare bead. It controls the malefic effects of the planet Rahu. This shadow planet is known for its illusory and deceptive powers. The energy of the 16 Mukhi can cut through any illusion, or deceit and bestow the wearer with auspiciousness. Victory and happiness follow the wearer. These lines from Ramashtakam mention this.
