Narayan Kavach

The Narayan Kavach is a divine combination of beads of 10 Mukhi and one bead of the 1 Mukhi Rudraksha and is blessed by Lord Vishnu. • Wash and oil the Rudraksha with almond oil once a month using a soft brush and chant ‘Om Namah Shivaye’ before wearing it the next day.
• Remove it during sexual intercourse and funeral visits.
• You can remove it while eating non-vegetarian food or drinking alcohol and wear it again later.
• Women can wear it all the time, even during menstrual cycles.
• To energise it, touch it to a shivling and chant ‘Om Namah Shivaye’ 11 times. Perform a Rudrabhishek of it when possible.
• Do not wear or use a Rudraksha Mala worn by others. Keep a separate Mala for Japa and for wearing.
